Life at the farm has been slowing down a wee bit lately so in turn I've been able to work on the fall to-do list here at home. For some reason I keep thinking of more things to add to the list but slowly (very slowly)... things are getting marked off one by one. There's been painting, staining, chicken coop cleaning, house cleaning, more painting, garden cleanup, adding compost to the garden to work it's magic over a long winter, planting garlic, closet cleaning and boxes of stuff donated... which is such a good feeling. Thankfully the weather has been perfect so those outside projects are the first on the list to be done because we never know what next week might bring!
Working at the farm on the weekends does have many bonuses...
one of those includes taking home the extra apple crisp
and enjoying it for breakfast the next day.
Yum.
I personally think it would be perfect for lunch and dinner as well.
I figured we earned it after raking up 4,569,283 leaves in the yard this year.
But who's counting?!
